Rajabu Mshana is a qualified geologist with experience working with both mining and exploration companies. In his most recent role, Rajabu worked with ASX-listed Strandline Resources. In this role, Rajabu was responsible for managing the company’s tenements, liaising with key government stakeholders and representing the company at industry events. Rajabu also worked on mapping, maintaining and procuring the necessary permits for the company as it looked to transition its Fungoni Heavy Mineral Sands Project from exploration into construction. In addition to his role with Above Ground Advisory, Mshana has been appointed as the official member of the Exploration Technical Committee of the Tanzania Bureau of Standards (TBS) representing the Tanzania Chamber of Mines effective from October 2023.

Prior to this, Rajabu worked at the Geita Gold Mine as a trainee exploration geologist. Rajabu has conducted multiple site-based assignments, gaining experience in geological mapping, data collection, analysis, and interpretation of lithology and structures.

Rajabu holds a Bachelor of Science (Geology) from the University of Dar es Salaam.
